Media HubPost AG and Austrian World Summit: Arnold Schwarzenegger Launches 100% Electric Postal Delivery in Vienna
Austrian Post has switched its delivery fleet in Vienna entirely to electric vehicles and the muscle power of its delivery staff. Vienna has thus become the largest city in Europe where the last mile of postal deliveries is entirely CO2-free.
To mark this milestone, the official launch took place today at Heldenplatz, attended by Arnold Schwarzenegger, the initiator of the Austrian World Summit climate conference which begins tomorrow, Minister for Economic Affairs Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer, Vienna’s City Councillor for Climate Action Jürgen Czernohorszky, and Austrian Post CEO Walter Oblin.
